Roll clouds

The rarity of roll clouds can be dispelled by spending a typical spring here in Oklahoma :wink:

I saw those in Brazil quite a few times. We had to land really quick when one of those appeared. :D

These occur regularly on the Australian Gulf of Carpentaria, where thye are called the Morning Glory. Those crazy Aussies take switch back rides on them, in microlights! See: http://home.iprimus.com.au/budmartin/fr ... 0Glory.htm
