Our galaxy, like NGC 7331? (APOD 27 Jul 2006)

I was wondering if our galaxy looks similar to NG 7331? I have always been curious about that.

Take a look at this. Reading the description of this recent APOD would indicate the world we live in is indeed a similar spiral
