APOD on Saturday 14th May

well, the date me different for you, but here in australia thats what it is, anyway, the link to the enlarged picture is

anyway, my question, well qeury is on the enlarged version you see many galaxies in the distance which makes for quite a stunning image, but the bright edge on galaxy thats direction is upwards, looks remarkably similar to the sombrero galaxy, pardon me if it is, i just thought that if the larger galaxy were so much brighter, no one would really bother about it, but yeh, is it the sombrero or not?
