Something very strange popped up on a Cerro Pachon image at 4:32 am UT on the morning of April 2:

It's not an Iridium flare or a satellite pass (according to Heavens Above). Note how distinct and extremely bright the streak is. Meteors, even fireballs, usually have a bright spot and two dim tips. This streak doesn't. It could just be some sort of computerization error as well, but who knows?

Interesting! I'l vote for a satellite. It might have been just launched, or something that heavens-above just missed. It might be in high orbit since the streak is so short.
