Image explanation?

Hello everyone
A few weeks ago I was in Patagonia in Chile and I saw a very strange "event" I was able to capture only part of it as this descentent down the mountain and I have no idea what this was, this took about 40s I assume as my picture is a 15s long exposure and this kept going down the mountain at first it seemed still but I guess it was not, this was a Oval shape thing, also this might be normal I don't know but the "falling" star next to the top of it moves direction and that may be normal I'm not sure, I wasn't sure where to post this but would like an explanation of what this could be or what I experienced it, so im not even sure if this is the correct place to post.
