Here is my image of the Crescent Nebula, Soap Bubble Nebula, and surrounding nebulosity which I captured at my home observatory throughout August and just finished processing.

Explanation:
This composite image, captured at the Sredzki Observatory in Vancouver, Canada, presents the Crescent Nebula (NGC 6888) alongside the neighboring LBN 208, resembling a stingray navigating cosmic waves. The Crescent Nebula, located in the constellation Cygnus, is an emission nebula formed by the stellar wind from a massive Wolf-Rayet star interacting with surrounding interstellar material. Its distinctive shape arises from the fast stellar wind colliding with slower-moving gas, creating shockwaves and intricate structures. Adjacent to NGC 6888, the nebulosity of LBN 208 adds to the cosmic tableau, enhancing the scene's depth and complexity. This image was compiled using 19h 30m of clean data collected through Ha, SII, and OIII narrowband filters. captured throughout August 2023. Additionally, the inclusion of the Soap Bubble Nebula adds a compelling contrast, showcasing a rare planetary nebula (PN G75.5+1.7) known for its distinctive, spherical appearance caused by a central star's outflow of gas and intense radiation. Together, these celestial formations offer a glimpse into the dynamic and diverse nature of nebulae in our galaxy.

“The Heart Nebula” – IC 1805

The image is the Heart Nebula in the constellation Cassiopeia in SHO color palette and RGB Stars. I have imaged The Heart and Soul Nebulae several times before on a tracker with a OSC so it was time to approach my favorite target with the mono cam and focus on the heart and drop the Soul for now. I have spent several nights in October and December to acquire as much mono data as possible to process it properly. RGB data was collected for stars and all channels were drizzled x2 in Astropixel Processor to enhance the details of the nebula and bring it to life. A lot of data was discarded due to weather conditions, but I thought I had enough to finally process the target. Then integrations were stretched in Pixinsight and combined in an SHO color pallet, deblurred, denoised and stars removed for color and detail enhancement and stars replaced by RGB stars. Final touched and crop performed in Adobe Photoshop.

In 2023 I have seen many beautiful amazing and never seen before nebulosity and detail in images from my fellow astrophotographers of the Heart Nebula region. I hope to revisit the target to reach the level of excellence that has been reached imaging the Heart Nebula.

A wintery view of the Hurlers triple stone circle on Bodmin Moor, Cornwall, UK under a bright Moon. looking North towards the bright stars of the Plough with the glow of a bright aurora on the horizon. The Hurlers date to the late Neolithic or early Bronze Age.

Bodmin Moor is a recognised International Dark Sky Landscape.

The image captures SH2-263 and a portion of the Lambda Orionis ring. Since I shot this in broadband I've also captured the surrounding reflection nebula GN 05 19.0. This was taken from my backyard outside of Philadelphia last month. I've included the technical details below.

The Summer (in the Southern Hemisphere) Milky Way, over a field of blooming lavender in New Zealand. On this night there was also a strong display of colorful airglow that surrounded the sky. Note the iconic constellation of Orion appears upside-down, compared with the view Northern Hemisphere observers are used to.

At a distance of just 11.2 Mly, IC 342 represents one of the closest massive spirals beyond the Local Group, exhibiting the abundance of star-forming activity at low inclination – almost face on (i ~ 30°).

This H-α LRGB image was obtained with the A1 telescope installed at the Alnitak Remote Observatory in Nerpio, Spain. Approx. 79.5 hours exposure time.

The Winter Circle or Winter Hexagon is an asterism of a hexagon made of six stars. at Rigel, Aldebaran, Capella, Pollux, Procyon, and Sirius. Image is a blended composite where the sky was shot on the 13th of December during the Geminids Meteor shower so there are a couple of meteors in the frame that were captured within the 210 exposures. Unfortunately, there was clouds most of the night, so I wasn't able to utilize an image with more meteors from this night. I do have another with very short meteors when the clouds cleared towards the end of the night over a dune that I will be sharing later. Foreground was shot same day during blue hour just after sunset. Image was taken in the western desert in Al Fayoum, Egypt.

The main, round picture is actually a mosaic made from 26 single frames covering the whole visible firmament and shown as a fisheye projection. The center of the Milky Way in Namibia comes almost through the zenith and it's a remarkable experience to see that. From Carina to Cygnus. Small Magellan Cloud and even Saturn are also visible. Not to mention all the nebulas and a lot of airglow.

As the fisheye projection has the shape of a circle, the corners were all black in a square picture. So I filled them up with a combination of 2 different pictures also taken in Namibia. The dusty stars are from the neighborhood of the Barnard Galaxy and to boost up the roundness I mixed it with some star trails.

The Orion nebula taken in northern France (near Arras) with a small sharpastar 61EDPH refractor. 75-minute exposure (in 30s serie shots) and a liter of herbal tea, as the outside temperature was around -3° . The heart is still too bright !

During the summer months in New Zealand, lavender farms all across the country come to life with beautiful rows of the purple flowers.
I happened to find one such farm deep in a dark sky reserve in the Mackenzie Basin, surrounded by rolling hills and rugged mountains.
On this night the sky was alive with waves of yellow and green airglow, seen in front of the zodiac/ecliptic plane of our solar system. (with constellations annotated in the second image). The purple flowers and isolated windmill add an element of familiarity to an alien sky.
