Sometime in the next few days I need to find time to update the board. I'm not sure exactly when it will be because I have a 1 year old that only wants me to operate on his schedule (lol), but if you notice the message board doesn't work at some time or looks different, it's most likely because of this.

Well, I did it... this is always a little nerve-wracking because you never know if it's going to totally break a bunch of stuff, but it looks ok. Some people were using some different styles I'd created over the years, and those I have to manually update to get back. Sorry if you are one of the few who is now stuck with the default theme and don't want to be.

The board supports emojis better now, supposedly.

Despite being "proven effective" the reCaptcha 3 thing for preventing bot posts seems rather... ineffective

Yeah, I've taken to just straight-out deleting the spam rather than moving it to the bin of hidden shame.

I upped the threshold from .7 to .9...

I added some language packs. Note that language packs are translated by volunteers, so not all languages are available. Though the board is still an English board, feel free to change the interface to your preferred language if it's there and you'd like.

<img> tagged items are appearing in full pixel width instead of being reduced to 400 px width.

oh, yeah, any little changes I made to the css got removed...

No pressure, but I’d love to have the dull brown interface back. The default blue is far too bright for my eyes.

noted. also just switched recaptcha3 back to the Q&A and put a new Q&A question up. recaptcha3 test is a complete failure.
