I propose a new Genre related to Science Fiction - The "ENGINEERING FICTION". I have started writing the engineering fiction story which is related to Civil/Mining Engineering. A fictitious code will also accompany the story. The name of the fiction is "THE CODE OFFICER".

Sounds like a pretty good idea; Talk to geckzilla, and see if she can help you out! Maybe just Sify!

I don't think there has been enough interest shown to warrant a new forum.
Maybe a thread in the Open Space forum ... Oh, wait, that's what this is ...

Well I guess we could keep itg right here in discuss anything! Kind of a hodgepodge area anyway! I like his idea though!

THE WOBBLY EARTH

If we shrink one year
To ten seconds
We shall notice
The Wobbly Earth

365 rotations in 10 seconds
Two wobbles in 10 seconds

The loose atmosphere also churns
Due to inertia

The rivers meander too
Due to same inertia of the flowing water

The Seasons change one cycle
And the sky rains

The Oceans/Seas develop sweeping water currents
Due to delta T (change in temperature) because of the wobble
The birds & fishes migrate
For new kids or thermal comfort.

And much more …. Life goes on.
