I'm here to submit a night scape picture shot at Mono Lake, California.
Milky Way above at south Tufa Area, Mono Lake. Tufa, showing the on the ground, is one of the limestone formed when carbonate minerals precipitate out of alkalic water. Mono lake, with high level of salts and alkalinity, is the exactly the hotbed for tufa growth. Carbonate minerals beneath the lakebed flow into water through the hidden stream, then they formed tufa bottom-up at the stream mouth. As water level drops down, tufa goes out the surface and stops growth. However, due to the lack of inflow, Mono lake is facing drying up. When we see the mystery tufa, we may think more about ecology conserve about Mono Lake.
Together with milky way, we have also seen shallow airglow on the left.

Hármashatár-hegy
(well-known as "HHH") is a mountain in the city of Budapest, Hungary. Its name comes from the fact that the borders of 3 cities
(Buda, Óbuda and Pesthidegkút) met at this point in the 19th century. Today these cities have merged into Budapest but the name of the mountain remained unchanged. The top of the mountain is located at 496 meters above sea level where a lookout tower was built in 2015-2016. After one year of the tower opening, it has become a popular tour destination of the residents of Budapest.

Lunar Libration
Hi guys, I am not sure video is appropriate here. But the overview of APOD flickr group suggests that it can be accepted.
This is a video about lunar libration. I created it from 6 images taken between May and June this year. My original idea was to create a phase transition animation, then I found there are apparent oscillation of Mare Crisium area between each photos, so I made a lunar libration animation instead.
The photos are rotated and aligned at the right edge of the moon.
Hope you will like it.

I've been trying to capture this shot of the Milky Way from an airplane for over a year. This was my final night photo captured during my flight home from Chile at 40,000ft. In short, my experience in Chile was breathtaking. The Atacama Desert night skies were absolutely incredible compared to what I've seen in the Northern Hemisphere. New astronomical objects to view really made that experience more enjoyable! I know I'll be back to Chile, that country has a piece of my soul now
The exposure was 5 seconds at ISO 51,200 and F2.8.
