Yes. This has been done. I would have to sift through the images to find them, but I have seen some of the star images.
The quality is poor because the imagers were not made for night vision.

Last summer, my first and probably last visit to Hawaii, I was trudging back up out of the crater when I noticed, "That looks just like the photographs I've seen from the Mars robots."

Looks like a greenish hue at the base of husband hill. Probably some discoloration in the print?
