March for Science
I'm curious who else might be planning to attend the March for Science in DC next weekend, or one of the many satellite marches? I'll be going to the one in Breckenridge, Colorado with a number of others from my community. Haven't decided on a sign yet.

Re: March for Science
If I wasn't so emotionally exhausted, I might. I also don't have anyone who would actually want to go with me, and I don't want to go alone. I guess I will be there in spirit.
Just call me "geck" because "zilla" is like a last name.

There'll be one here in Halifax, Nova Scotia, which I will attend.

Re: March for Science
Marched in Breckenridge yesterday. Other than snow crossing Hoosier Pass (elev 3500 m), the weather was good. Lots of sun, which was important because my sign was solar powered! A motor waved a flag that said "Science Works". That sign generated a lot of attention.
There were several hundred people marching, which is pretty good for a small mountain town.

Gosh, those dinosaurs are everywhere. Wish we had a little video of your amusing sign.

But the "Science Works" flag could have also generated a tornado downwind in OklahomaChris Peterson wrote:
