Latest pics...from Boomer12k.

Hi, all...
FINALLY hit good weather the other week, and got out the 10" Meade. I had great weather, and good focus. Tried a different mode, and got a better detailed shot of Jupiter, hope you enjoy. Sorry for the over exposed stars, but it cannot be helped with such a cheap camera. Deep Sky Imager II Color. But the nebula detail was great compared to earlier efforts. I brightened up the image and took out some heat speckle artifacts with Photoshop, but that was about it. I think I did some Wavelet adjustment in Registax to bring out a bit more.
Pictures are converted and stacked in Registax 6. The Trapezium is around 25 frames. Jupiter over 50. The lighter shot is around 150 frames. Probably would have been better with less... but I like to experiment. :lol2:
First shot of Jupiter where I could really tell the Red Eye. And some Cloud detail...Really Stoked!!

Hope you enjoy. Tuesday looks good this week too.
