Andromeda the Dragonfly
The star trail image was build using the stack of 70 images over Isla de Los Pájaros at Península Valdez. This is how the northen hemesphere looks like, from 44 degrees latitude south.
I found Isla de los Pájaros a lovely place to mix with my astrophotography, The camera not only captured the beauty of M31 and M33, it also captured that green/pink cast in the sky that is pure airglow.
What I love about Andromeda is how she looks like on a star trail, she looks like a Dragonfly.
There is a popular legend, about an inspiring man who visited Península Valdés when he was flying as a postal manager in Argentina from 1929 to 1931, the name was Antonie de Saint-Exupéry, the author of the "The Little Prince", the shape of the island inspired Antonie to draw the hat or "boa swallowing an elephant" in his "The Little Prince" story book, the place has the story printed and a comparision of the island with the "draw number 1" of "The Littler Prince" book.

A Midsummer Night's Dream - The full Moon enlights the sky and the wheat field whilst a gentle breeze shakes the grass. The scorpio constellation is rising with saturn and a soft focus effect creates a feeling of oniric and magic

California Dreamin
In November 1965 “The Mamas and the Papas” published their famous song “California Dreamin”. Exactly 50 years later I had the chance to image the California Nebula and publish my image of the California Nebula in memory of “California Dreamin” and “The Mamas and the Papas”.
