Astronomy Lectures

There are a lot of good lectures out there on the web and sometimes I post them in various threads if they are pertinent. Here's a new thread just for good lectures if you happen to find them. I just watched this month's public lecture which is held at STScI. I can honestly say I have never been disappointed in a single one since I started watching these so if you have the time and want to see more, definitely check out the public lectures playlist.

Enjoyed this one. Earth and its conservation from a cosmic perspective; the number she arrives at for the optimal human population over the next few million years is surprisingly low. Finally, a roomful of people blithely consider the destruction of capitalism.
