This is a shot of this morning's lunar eclipse over the Boulder Flatirons in Colorado. The eclipse occurred during twilight here, with the moon low on the horizon.

Great images, and congrats to Rogelio on the APOD!

Here is my contribution. I flew all the way from Indianapolis to San Francisco for this eclipse, but instead of the Golden Gate Bridge I chose the rocky coast of Big Sur (South of Santa Cruz, CA) for my foreground.

Lets start with a few images taken through the telescope (ED80 on a Celestron AVX mount... a lot of work to carry all that gear!!!!)

I must say that it was an exhausting trip. I spent the first night (after flying to SF) scouting for places to set up my gear alongside the coast (and slept in my car) and then spent the second night taking the pictures with the help of some friends who live in California.
