A few images from Lauder, New Zealand...
At NIWA atmospheric station in Lauder, New Zealand, has built brand new dome for the BOOTES telescope. Meantime a few amazing sky views had offered me to capture some shots.

What Lies at the Center of the Hercules Cluster?
http://www.tonylicata.0rg
Copyright: Tony Licata - I discovered this curious asterism at the center of the gravitational curiosity M13.
What could be more fitting than to see this portrait of the father of modern gravitational science? Has anyone ever noticed it before?

Haha. Nice pareidolia there.
Just call me "geck" because "zilla" is like a last name.

Just visited Kelling Heath star party in North Norfolk UK. Skies reasonable so I took atrip to the nearby coast at around midnight, skies were misty low down and this one is looking due North and the plough and Auriga visible. Also a feint Aurora is visible.

This is a 50 hours combination taken by 6 guys in the New Mexico skies astronomy trip.
We drove 4100km from Montreal, QC. Canada to Rodeo NM. With our stock in the trailer to catch the light to our telescope in the darkest skies in the north Americas.
Taken by: Robert Saint-Jean, Jacques Demers, Paul Paradis, Patrice Amyot,Jean-Francois Larouche and Sebastien St-Jean.

The Comet Catcher Pictograph
http://www.ancientskys.com/
Copyright: Marc Toso
A pictograph found in a canyon near Canyonlands National Park, done in the Barrier Canyon Style, similar to the pictograph panels in
Horseshoe Canyon Canyonlands, believed to be several thousand years old. All illumination is moonlight.
