Space is the final frontiere!
The image was made from Mt. Voras at an altitude of 2450m and -7 degrees Celcius. The ski lift found on the mountain reminded me the shape of USS Entersprise against the shape of our Milky Way galaxy seen under pristine sky conditions. It is an exposure of 25 seconds with a 15mm lens at f2.8 with ISO 1600 and a DSLR camera. At the lower part of the image, a green skyglow can be seen probalbly by our atmosphere.

Setting Moon Above Buda Castle

On Friday evening I observed and photographed the setting Moon at the bank of river Danube in Budapest. The Hungarian royal palace, the Buda Castle
(UNESCO World Heritage Site) acts as wonderful foreground of the scene.

A shot of the Sun Setting on Wednesday 29th April at around 7.50 pm GMT. Quite cloudy so it gave me an opportunity to photograph whilst getting a little detail in there. It seems I caught a couple of sun spots ( according to friend who observed it through solar scope)

NGC 5864-5865: The Whirlpool Galaxy and its interacting companion - Canes Venatici
This first image is a classical natural colors LRGB version of the two galaxies with a small % of narrow band Hydrogen Alpha to increase the visibility of the brightest HII regions of the galaxy.
In the second image, a higher % of the narrow band Hydrogen Alpha signal has been introduced in order to show a fainter distribution of Hydrogen outside the brightest HII main regions
