Morning/Afternoon

After a recent split from my girlfriend I have been left with a rather unslightly tattoo of her name on my left breast area. Since they say tattoos have to have meaning and since i love space/astronomy and all things attached. I've chosen this as my inspiration (of which I am all out). I have thought of side on spiral galaxies and would appreciate your input as to which one my artist should copy. ideally im looking for it to cover my whole left breast area and it needs to be dark enough to hide a black ink name.

Since your skin is light and the ink is dark, you'll want to look for an object which looks good when it's inverted. It won't look much like it came from space at that point but it will look better than trying to cover your chest in black.

Depending on the length of the name and the design of the letters, you could come up with an alteration to it to say something else?
OR, not knowing much about tattooing... is there a flesh toned pigment available to re-do the name and make it disappear?
OR, perhaps you could make it into a bar code, that says "I Love You" when read. That would seem to fit everyone.

naaaaah i want a space/astronomy tattoo there id quite like a REAL galaxy tatooed there with the spiral arm finishing up on or around my collar bone.

Well, looks like you're pretty well stuck with Goggling pictures of galaxies and looking and looking and looking...

You could just go straight for a Carl Sagan portrait haha. How about a picture of your favorite telescope? Über nerd.

Carty did a whole series of these portraits. The addition of the quote (obviously by someone else) is so ugly and doesn't match the quality of his work at all.
