Asteroid 2004 MN4 on collision course with earth in 2029

NASA announced on X-mas eve that they recently upgraded the Asteroid 2004 MN4 from a 2 to a 4 in "risk factor".
Which make the risk 1 - in - 60 to hit the earth.

I found the confirming article here:
Science & Space and it starts to sound really scary

An asteroid impact like that is rare and happens only once in 100 000 years
but I have heard in a TV-program earlier that we are way overdue by now :(

The only small comfort is that it's not a "global killer" asteroid, but it's large enough to make loads of damage !

2029 impact ruled out by NASA

If you check the NASA Near Earth Object web page, it reads,
Jeff Larsen and Anne Descour of the Spacewatch Observatory near Tucson, Arizona, were able to detect and measure very faint images of asteroid 2004 MN4 on archival images dating to 15 March 2004. These observations extended the observed time interval for this asteroid by three months allowing an improvement in its orbit so that an Earth impact on 13 April 2029 can now be ruled out.
Whew! That's good news for all of us. :D

However, I am not accusing Crystallize of being wrong, because the article that is quoted was published a day after Crystallize posted the collision course topic.
