I think that you have your pictures labeled wrong, Brian May doesn't have a cleft in his chin.
Although Dr. May may be "part-time" now, as the lead guitarist for Queen, I wouldn't have called him a part-time musician.
Last year he was rated as the second best guitarist of all time by a Guitar World fan poll.

About Brian May Official Channel
Brian May's Official YouTube Channel - Queen guitarist, animal welfare, astrophysicis, 3-D photography.
So, yes, he continues to list being Queen guitarist first on his YouTube channel
I can't find the source, but I recall reading him saying that he and Patrick Moore were alike in that they were both astronomers and musicians. Both men are high on my list of people I admire hugely and they shared a delightful self-deprecating sense of humour.

Only second best? Who was rated first?

Click to play embedded YouTube video.
This is an interview with May by Rick Wakeman, totally focussed on music and how May found and developed his unique sound. It is over an hour long but I found it fascinating and had to watch it through. I was interested to see what a very good interviewer Wakeman had become. Another many-talented rock star.

I think Brian May has better hair. Newton's hair was a wig.
But I agree that Brian May is a great guitarist, and I loved the band Queen. It's nice that Brian May takes such an interest in astronomy, too.
It isn't absolutely certain that Newton wore a wig in the picture you posted. In this picture from 1702, he definitely did.
Check out this page to look at different portraits of Newton. Read about male wigs in the 17th century here.

I find it somewhat funny that I keep having to ban a spam bot who insists that this thread is a great place to advertise for male wigs.
