Permanent links on main page

Many times we will want to share an APOD, and in order to get the permanent link, one has to go to the Archive link, then get the link for today's APOD.

Could we get a permanent link on the main page? Perhaps make the title of the picture have the permanent link in it?

Permanent links are always of the form apod.nasa.gov/apod/apYYMMDD.html.
For example, the permanent link for today, 2012 Oct 23, is apod.nasa.gov/apod/ap121023.html

An alternative to going to the archive is to press the previous link (<) and then press the next link (>) in the navigation bar.
