I am sure you got a moment too, when you realized that you failed in APOD?

I am confessing mine so I sleep better :lol2:

About a year ago, I saw a star cluster APOD and I was all astonished about the countless stars.
Then, I scrolled down and I realized with shock that the stars were partly dust particles on my screen

Since then, I have a very very clean screen :!:

Tell your APOD-fail, get it out of your chest and sleep better too

You mean like the great solar flare image that turned out to just be my monitor on fire?

Literally? Your monitor exploded? Do you have foes in APOD? Did you get hurt? :?

Hmmm I thought these old Brown's CRT TVs could not only implode but also explode,
can Flat Plasma and LCD monitors explode?

Yes... I let things get out of control. First I thought it was an aurora APOD, then decided it was a solar flare. By the time I figured out it wasn't a supernova APOD, it was too late.

How do I know that I'm not letting things get out of control with my monitor?

In other words, how and why did it happen, Chris?

(By the way, I sure hope you managed to put out that fire quickly, with minimal damage to other items of your property and to yourself!)ImageImageImage
