The Wall!

Post by saturno2 » Wed Jun 20, 2012 10:26 am

The Wall or Great Attractor is a gravitational anomaly located about 250 million light-years, in the direction of the Constellation of Hydra and Centaurus.
It detect here a massive hyper area has a great attraction. It is believed that this large gravitational force is due to the presence of dark matter. A subject that is not seen but is felt.
The dark matter will have a high density as a pulsar?

Nobody has observed evidence of high density dark matter (meaning densities like those observed in "solid" ordinary matter). Dark matter appears to exist as a fluid or non-self-interacting gas (other than by gravitational attraction). That does not exclude it having a strong gravitational influence, because there is so much of it, and it may be present in very large clouds.

The Great Wall (aka Coma Wall) and the Great Attractor are not the same thing.

alive to the gentle breeze of communication, and please stop being such a jerk.

Thanks, Chris
If dark matter is a fluid, we can not talk about hight density.

The Wall is different that " Great Wall" and "Great Wall Sloan"

" Great Wall" is the second superestructure of the Universe ( Wikipedia )
It is composed of Superclusters of Coma and Hercules
Distance from Earth 200 million light-years
Leght 500 million light-years.

"Great Wall Sloan" is a galactic wall. ( Wikipedia )
The superestructure more big of the Universe.
Distance form Earth 1,000 million light-years
Leght 1,370 million light-years
