Cat exhibition

Post by Ann » Sat Apr 14, 2012 7:04 pm

Today I was at a cat exhibition here in Malmö. It was fun. Many of the cats were either adorably cute or elegant, striking and beautiful. Some, I must admit, struck me as downright ugly. In this video - sorry about the commercial in the beginning - you can see a very long-eared, thin-faced cat whose looks doesn't appeal to me at all, but apparently he has won a prize as the most beautiful cat in the world of his breed! It takes all kinds, I guess.

(Please note that you have to scroll down a little bit to see the video, as the link brings you to a newspaper page.)

Well, all the cats were nice, sweet and well-behaved, and I had a good time.

I'm sorry that I don't have the energy to translate what they say in the video. But why don't you just look at the cats?

I like the "Tiger" with the overtly large "Yoda" ears

The first one is a -two armful- puddy tat. The second one looks like it's thinking -If i have to put up with much more of this, i'm going to start extending my claws. The third one looks like it's thinking -Sigh, another cat show. The fourth one...... Egads, it has sunny-side-up, fried egg eyes :!: I'm going to leave now before the yoke is on me.
