Here is a series of moonimages I made in the last week where you can see the differences in time when the shadows change their shapes and the moon is differently lighted.

Jesús Carmona de Argila, that's the most dramatic image I've seen of the Sun - it sure looks as if the Sun was on fire!

Robert Farrimond, just a few hours ago I wrote in another forum here that IQ Aurigae is one of my absolutely favorite stars, and here you have photographed it! :D It's a star that is classified as an A-type star even though it is as hot and blue and almost as bright as a B4-type star. Appropriately, you have managed to bring out its exquisite "blueness", as it is indeed the bluest-looking star in your image! The asterism, of which IQ Aurigae is an important member, is called "The Leaping Minnow", by the way. That's a charming name, I think.

You have also managed to bring out the beauty of nebulae IC 405 and IC 410! :D

Jupiter, Oval Ba, Moon Io

On this side of the Jovian disk (Sept.19th) shows the little brother of the GRS the Oval Ba going into the dark side at the limb. Some festons, barges and ovals could be seen at the belts and some very bright disturbances also at the NTB. The moon Io is transiting across the disk with its shadow (Left) on the surface also.

Last week I made images of M27 with my ED110. I decided to combine these images with Ha and OIII data taken with my C11 earlier this year. So in the end I made a widefield (well a bit) with the details of the C11 in the core.

Exposures:

C11 f/6.3:

H-alpha 5x30 minutes with 4,5nm custom scientific filter
OIII 7x30 minutes 13nm astronomik

ED110:
R: 9x5 min Baader R
G: 3x5 min Baader G
B: 3x5 min Baader B

All images are made from my heavily light-polluted backyard under the lights of Rotterdam...

Here is the result:

Efrain, very nice catch! I only saw UARS once and it was really very fast.
Luc: I really like your concept that's a nice view of the Milky Way.

I remade the M27 earlier submitted with extra OIII and Ha data gathered in the last two days. I think this version is much better than the earlier version and I think it's quite a different view of M27 than what I'm used to see.....

Exposures:

C11 f/6.3:

H-alpha 5x30 minutes with 4,5nm custom scientific filter
OIII 7x30 minutes 13nm astronomik

ED110:
R: 9x5 min Baader R
G: 3x5 min Baader G
B: 3x5 min Baader B
Ha: 7x30 min with 4,5nm custom scientific filter
OIII: 4x30 min 13nm astronomik
