This video shows the occultation of the star Eta Gem by the Moon at 21:11:36 UTC on the 13th March 2011. The star is a red/orange star some 350 light years away, and as you can see, it disappeared in a matter of seconds:

It disappeared behind the limb of the Moon, which is shadowed and not visible in this video. Perhaps you are confusing the limb with the terminator?

Yes - it went behind the dark limb of the Moon. Well put Sam :)

So then, it disappeared when it was close enough to the moon that the reflected light from the moon was stronger than the starlight and the star disappeared, right?

It doesn't 'matter' to me how 'dark' the UFOs are, THEY don't answer the question :!:

No. It disappeared because it went behind the Moon. The Moon was not full at the time, and it disappeared behind the unlit side.

Dark matter[sic] UFOs.
It wasn't because of Dark Matter UFO's, neufer, it was because of 'KOO'. Known Orbiting Object.
