South Pole neutrino coincidences

I just heard an interesting talk by Robert Morse of the AMANDA south pole neutrino collaboration. He indicated that AMANDA has seen essentially a few hundred neutrinos events over the past few years eminating from seemingly random positions in the Earth's northern hemiphere. These events are located well in time but only located to about one degree in angular position. He said that the AMANDA collaboration is not currently looking for time and space coincidences for their neutrino events in the optical. When I pointed out that our NSL project likely has time and space coincidence images with some AMANDA neutrino events he agreed that it would be interesting to look for NSL flash coincidences. I don't have high hopes for a "hit" but it is easy to look and would be fabulously excellent were any real coincidences found. We may be in contact and/or he may send a list of events that an interested NSLer or AMANDAn could work with.
