Hubble just keeps finding and finding; Best telescope ever in my mind. :)

As noted in the APOD, the most distant objects are Z=8. That's the best answer, although this can be interpreted in different ways. It means the Universe was 650 million years old when the most distant object produced the light we see in this image. Or, it means that the light took 13 billion years to reach us. Or, it means that the little piece of the Universe that produced those photons is now 29.8 billion light years away.

Chris said it is 13 Gyrs away.

The deepest so far in deep field is 13.2 to 13.4 Gyrs

Yeah, and there are probably some a lot closer. So, what's your point?

Oh, and by the way, those are light years not years. Years are a measurement of time not distance.

The first point is that the image is 13 Gyrs (that is light years in billions)
Compared to deep field images 13.2 Gyrs. Then again every time they pick a new spot its galaxies never seen before.

I think you missed the point.

No, that's years in billions. I think giga light years would be Gly.

You are still confusing time with distance.

I don't think any offical age or distance has been placed on any of the objects in this picture, but I'm sure it's quite a wide range. Previous Hubble deep field studies include:

I have to agree with Chris. If you do know the difference, please make an effort to use the correct terminology. If not, then consult a dictionary. Wiktionary is a good one, but there are plenty of others available on line.
