<<Planet Trekker is an adventure tourism television series. Each episode features a host, called a rover, who travels to a planet—often, a relatively exotic locale—and experiences the sights, sounds, and culture that the location has to offer. Special episodes feature in-depth crater, beach, dive, shopping, history, festival, and food guides. The rover is often accompanied by 5–6 members of camera and production crew, who never appear on camera. Specifically, the crew consists of a camera operator and a sound technician, plus a producer and a director, who scout locations 2 weeks before filming. A driver, pilot, or other type of facilitator is often hired locally.>>

Which planet would you want to trek to first, Neuf?

The 2009 March 24 APOD just reminded me of all those interesting travelogues
where an apparently very lonely single person happily treks across the globe by themselves.

In the explanation to the APOD it states "Opportunity should arrive at Endeavor crater in about two years". Through one of the links it states the distance it needs to drive is about seven miles. What a nice pace of life. No rush, just a nice steady progress to its target. :)

Opportunity and Spirit are certainly lasting and still doing a lot more than they were probably expected to do. What a great achievement they are still proving to be.
