Starship Asterisk*

Apparently a major power supply failed while I was in Ireland. I am just back and was able to get our support people to bring the aging system back up. They expect to put in a new system in the next few weeks.

I apologize for the outage -- I had very sparse email access for the past 10 days and did not notice the problem. Jerry did not have the ability to fix the problem.

In the future, if this bulletin board is down for more than one day, please send a polite email to cechelp@mtu.edu alerting them politely that there is a problem.

In the future, if this bulletin board is down, you won't be able to come here and find that e-mail address - so everybody make a record of it now and send a copy to yourself c/o the Svalbard Global Seed Vault.

Yes (thank you RJN), but who knows where the search for substitute meaning in our lives would have led. I want 200 words from everyone on what you did with your vacation (besides clicking that link over and over) - school is back in session.
