this is an image I have taken with my 9" TMB Apo under perfect seeing conditions.
also transparency was at its very best, providing a night sky with stars visible at 6.5 to 6.7 !!! I also saw M33 bare eyed - never encounteres any comparable night before.
some data:
Date: 13.+14.8.2007 - seeing 7-8/10; transp. 9/10
Scope: 9" TMB Apo f/6.8 using Astrophysics reducer
CCD: SXV M25C - 7.8 hours
Software: AstroArt4, Maxim DL, CCD sharp, Registax
Processing: postprocess. in PS CS2 and Pix InSight LE
