Any ideas what would cause this bright object to be in the SOHO images for less than the span of 1 hour ? http://sohowww.nascom.nasa.gov/data/rea ... 118_c3.gif
It is in the lower right quadrant

before

From the information I have, that war is over.

Just a little clean up here and there, then prison for the survivors here on (or under actually) earth for the next thousand years.

There are a few other movements in those images I would be interested in knowing what they were too.

Michael Mozina wrote:I went back and looked at the running difference images for that day to see what they showed, and there is no discernible movement in that object in the frame before it, and only a dark remnant in the fame after it, with no sign of any movement right or left... Whatever it was, it was there in one frame and missing in the next with no sign of any movements in either the frame before it or after it.
It was alien ship, man, it is clear as day! They teleported here by mistake, and once they realised that, they teleported back to wherever they came from. Dark remnants are probably products of ship systems, like gases, or liquid suspension, or dust... Easiest explanation possible!

Didn't mean to leave you out BMAONE23, who could ever forget youR post
involving " How fast do we need to go " Asked by some nut who watches too much si-fi.

Dark Helmet: No, no, no. Light speed is too slow.
Colonel Sandurz: Light speed is too slow?
Dark Helmet: Yes. We're gonna have go right to... ludicrous speed.
[everybody gasps]
Colonel Sandurz: Ludicrous speed? Sir, we've never gone that fast before. I do'nt know if this ship can take it.
Dark Helmet: What's the matter Colonel Sandurz? Chicken?

OH WAIT, it was my question, Oh well THE TRUTH IS OUT THERE.

Uncertain
It is interesting though that it is the only frame they appear in

http://sohowww.nascom.nasa.gov/data/rea ... me-c3.html

prior and after, nothing.

Just another mystery

May be SOHO was passing trough a cloud of small particules or the remnant of a comet? I wont go check if it happen before on other image cause it would take too long. But if it happen before then it might be interesting to see if it is a repetitive phenomenon.
