That planet is name G1 851c. On TV they say that it's about 5 times the earth mass and it's temperature make it possible to have water on it. Far fetching they say that it might be possible for life to exist there. There are 3 planets around that star. And that star is around 4.3 billions years old. Around 20 light years away. It's an M3 class star and the planet G1 851c orbit it in around 12 days. It may seem a close orbit but the star is small and it does not deliver that much energy and light. The exentricity of that planet is 0 (or near 0?) wich make it a stable orbit (Almost a circle or a circle?) and it would have a mean temperature between 0 to 10 degré celcius.

Big creature are better to have a good grip on the ground overthere or it will hurt when they fall and hit the ground with that amount of gravity.

Tho., in water a creature can be as big as any we have here on earth or bigger. Free speculation here.

581 has three known planets, the lightest of which is 581c. Surprisingly one of the others, about 50% heavier, is even closer to the star. 581c orbits in 12.9 days, and this other one orbits in something like 5.4. I'm running from memory; I'd have to look it up again to be certain of the number.

Maddad, with your interest in SETI etc. you should have a good understanding and conception of this.

Cripes. There are so many factors controlling whether there is life outside out solar system. Are we the only ones? Is it common instead? Did it originate here or get transported here somehow? There are 10^22 stars or thereabouts and all the time in the universe, and yet is that enough? Could random chance make it happen if a new unique molecular combination were tried each nanosecond in each cubic angstrom of soup since the beginning of time? Odds are stacked against you if you accept that the minimum genome needs about 400,000 base-pair.

Still, life did happen at least once. Against the odds above. That strongly implies that what we believe we know about the model for the creation of life is not right in some fashion. If I live long enough, I may figure that one out. Then again, there are a very limited number of zeros in the life time left to me.
