I am presuming that we are not simply talking about the constellation Leo??
But there are LOTS of beautiful galaxies in that constellation...

How about a nebula?

Nebulae are beautiful - do you know any of those in Leo, Beyond?
Or are there OTHER feline linked astronomical objects that I've never heard of? It is extremely likely!
I'm off to bed - night- night!

Well, the first (and only) thing that popped into my noggin, is the cats eye nebula. It's feline, but of course beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

I should have also added that the beholding depends on the filters used for the photographing.

(Referring to the previous puzzle, the answer to which was Epsilon Lyrae - I'm too slow today.)
Nice one! I've always liked that double star in one corner of the Lyra triangle, but I never knew they were double-doubles.

Do you take double-doubles with your toroids, Rob?

Congratulations, Beyond, on getting the Cat's Eye Nebula! As you have shown yourself to be knowledgeable - why not set us a puzzle yourself?

Not any more. I must restrain my baser urges. Single/singles now and forever more.

We have something similar here, called cortado leche-leche*, which I, too, have had - reluctantly - to abjure...

Are you kidding I'm still working on trying to do one from the first one i solved! Solving isn't the same as making one up. In order to make one up, ya gotta know more. Well, i just don't know that much about space stuff. Actually, i almost couldn't believe that Moonlady did such a simple one. But then Ann also did a simple one with the picture of a pan and a picture of stars. Well, one of these days something will come together. If there was a nebula called humdinger, i could do one now.

Beyond, if you don't mind, I'm going to post another one.
I smoke! I don't inhale, but I sure exhale. I exhale carbon! There's soot and tar in what I exhale, I shouldn't wonder.
All that carbon I exhale gives me an interesting color. It fits your expectations to a T!

I don't mind at all, Ann. You've got way more star-brains than i. Although... my T is really tea. But something about what you said reminds me of T-tauri. Don't know if i spelled it right, but it doesn't matter, as i don't remember what it is anyway. So that's all i got.

Good guess, Beyond! T Tauri is a young star that hasn't been fully "born" yet, and it is having "baby upheavals". Tantrums, if you like!
It could have been this T that I'm asking for, but it isn't.

Tantrums eh Sounds kinda human to me. I'm glad it doesn't need diapers, or this whole section of the universe would be in Big trouble
As for something spacey that exhales carbon, i draw a blank. Although there is a very faint something about changing color, but i just don't remember what-when-why.
Ah, tea for 3 clues. Didn't help me at all, but that's no surprise.

Well, I was referring to the color of the tea... how surprising! It gives you a clue as to the color of the T.
My T is a smoker, exhaling soot and tar (among other carbonaceous products). I very much doubt it is spitting tea, red, green, black or otherwise, but it wouldn't surprise me if it gives off steam!
Maybe my T likes to listen to music similar to this.

I might point out, too, that my T is a fairly northerly fellow. Once he might have come close to being the North Star. (Please note: He never was the North Star, as far as I'm aware, but he is located fairly close to a star that once was the beacon of the North!)
My object may actually have something in common with Santa. He is red and northerly and gives off stuff. But unlike Santa, he doesn't like jingle bells, preferring some other kind of music instead!
A cup of T, Santa?

Don't forget the chocolate chip cookies They're what keeps him jolly
Well, there is a big star that has to do with Orion that has color and i do remember reading something about the north star being another star once upon a time, and that the north star will change again some day, but... i just don't remember enough to put anything together. That's why i can't make up any puzzles. I just don't have the lobes to remember enough information.
Actually, space is pretty boring. All everything ever does out there is come together and blow up! Then it does it all over again. Does make for some pretty pictures though.

Well, T isn't going to blow up, I think, although he's past his prime (which is why he is the color he is).
Click to play embedded YouTube video.
This is T's favorite music, which he enjoys in the company of Santa, drinking a cup of T.

I would have said Tau draconis from the other clues - but the music clue makes nonsense of that idea.
