In the last month or two there have been a dozen or so posts that quoted a recent post above them and were just the same thing rephrased. Pretty clearly AI generated. Why? Yes, I've reported many myself, or at least the ones that revealed a tiny embedded URL when the post was quoted. Yeah, the ones that hide URLs (sometimes in the quoted section) it's easy to see the motive. I've seen clickable ones. They replace the original URL in the quote with a new one that goes to some spam site or maybe a site trying to deliver something malicious.
