Whats up with the high number of what looks like 3-4 stars in a row all over this picture? Is it just some weird camera artifact or is it real?

I'd have to go with starfish. Much more descriptive than pillow, and more accurate than flying squirrel. Or Casper, for the friendly ghost.

The nebula looks like a Cotton bulb, or Cotton Flower to me. It is what cotton looks like on the plant.
