It was at or near 60°F here on Sunday. With drizzle/rain, darn it. That was early in the day; the temperature steadily dropped throughout the day. It's 28° now.

Orin, I like mine medium-well, please; thanks!

It's below freezing here; Yahoo! weather says it's 27°F. It's really obvious my house was built in the early 60s; the walls are cold, and the kitchen floor, which is on a concrete slab... well, socks at least are a good idea if one is going to walk or stand in the kitchen.

It's beautifully clear, though; there is a brittle brilliance to the day.

Ha-Ha-Ha, orin and his grill seems to have turned the weather thread into the num, num, num thread. Perhaps we should go to the num, num, num thread and discuss "whether" or not we will actually get any num-nums :?:

Anyway our short bout of weather in the 40's F is over. It's supposed to get cold and snow this weekend.

Some parts of western connecticut already have 10-11 inches of snow. Meanwhile I'm seeing the moon and some stars. That's the way--uh-huh, uh-huh--i like it--uh-huh, uh-huh :!: Although the weather guys are threating the east half of connecticut with most of the snow tomorrow night. Guess I'll have to go down to my barn and bring up my brand new snowblower tomorrow. Tomorrow-tomorrow, I'll get to p-l-a-y with my brand new toy. YEE-HA!! :cowboy:

We are supposed to get up to 2 inches of snow today! That may not sound too bad but it is supposed to snow Sunday and Monday also! Temperatures are going to drop also. I'm going to stay indoors as much as possible. :)

We had an Alberta Clipper come through that spit a little snow at us; it's gone now and the sun is shining. Still cold, though; except for taking my kid to/picking him up from the Metro, I'm staying in, too. If it were going to be a little warmer today, I'd think about, and maybe even take, a bike ride, but it's not, so I'm not!

Well, this storm dumped enough snow where i am to make things look like a powdered Torriod. The weather guys say the next storm comeing tonight isn't going to do much either. That being the case, for the first four storms of the season(one being a Blizzard) I'll have had about 8 inches of snow so far.
However, the west side of connecticut's snowfall so far, is measured by the yard. I don't feel sorry for them at all. Things used to be the other way around!!

Well, the next storm has arrived and I've already got a good two inches on the ground. Dare i think about breaking in my brand new snowblower?
NAH!! To early. I'll find out tomorrow. The snow is kinda powdery and we're supposed to be getting wind and besides, i still have to vacuum the spider-webs out of my boots. Dangblasted pesky little critters :!:

Well, the storm came and went and left about 4 inches of crystalized water on the ground. One of my neighbors came by with his john Deere winterized lawn tractor setup and cleared my driveway in about 2 minutes. I called him after and thanked him and mentioned that i had a brand new snowblower sitting in my barn. Isn't it wonderful to have such thoughtful neighbors?

Snow flakes are falling all around; there's four inches on the ground.
bystander; would you like some of this pretty white stuff?
It is supposed to snow for the next two days. If it continues at the rate it is coming down; we will accumulate close to 12 inches by the time it quits. I think my plan is to stay indoors as much as possible.

We have light snow, now. Hope it stays that way. Could do without the cold, though.
