Hi, Orin! Nice crocuses! :D

Like you, I wasn't able to attach more than three of my own pictures in one post. So here are three more of my own, plus a Wikimedia one:

Closeup of the cherry tree bloom.jpg
Closeup of the cherry tree bloom.
Early cherry tree in bloom on March 7 2020.jpg
Cherry tree in bloom on March 7.

wood anemone March 7 2020.jpg
Wood Anemones on March 7.

We got a little bit of sunshine yesterday, on March 7, so I went looking for some very early signs of spring. There is a nice cherry tree by a pond outside the main public library of Malmö, and I went there to see if it had started putting out flowers. And wow, it had started indeed, my word! It was in full bloom! On March 7! I don't believe that has ever happened for as long as I have lived in Malmö, which I have since 1964.

I also went to look for Wood anemones. I really didn't think there would be any. After all, the Wood anemone is a "late spring flower", which usually appears in April. And goodness me, there are lots of other flowers that have not appeared yet, as far as I have seen, like Ranunculus ficaria L, and the forsythia has just barely started, and there really aren't many tulips around, and so on.

Yet there they were, they Wood anemones. On March 7. I'm sure they have never appeared so early.

I apologize for the lousy pictures, but my mobile phone just can't do any better.

I like your Cherry Tree; It's branches are similar to an old American Elm
I used to climb in when I was a boy! đŸ˜»

I made little cages that I put around my baby garden plants; works like a charm that stimmies the rabbits from chomping up my little garden plants! I made them out if wire mesh about 5 inches in diameter and 5 inches high! the mesh has about 1/2 inch openings!

Thanks for the suggestion, Orin, but I'm not allowed to make any changes of any sort to the grounds or gardens that are owned by our condominium.

Uh, Orin? The little mess cages that you put around the plants "stimmies" the rabbits from chomping up your little garden plants?

What does "stimmies" mean?

I think I used the word wrong! The cages keep the rabbits from reaching the plant, thus letting the plant get big enough to grow to maturity! I meant to use stymies! Quite a difference!

We have had a couple of sunny days, finally, and I just wanted to show you some of the things that are in bloom in Malmö right now.

Just two more pictures. The cherry tree is the same as the one I photographed twelve days ago. It is past its prime now, but still beautiful. The nearby pond looks beautiful when seen through the branches of the cherry tree.

Wow! Thanks for your dandelions, Orin; yes, I do like them in spring! I kind of get tired of them during the summer.

Let me post some of my flower pictures, too! First of all, I have to show you some tulips.đŸŒ· No, the rabbits didn't eat them all!🐰 In fact, we have a good number of them.

The second thing I want to show you is a small apple tree in bloom below my balcony! The tree is actually right in front of my balcony on the top floor in this picture!

The third picture is a pink cherry tree and a beech tree with new green leaves just across the street from my condominium.

Have to show you pictures from two nearby parks. The first one is a picture of flowers from Slottsparken. I love this park in the spring, when flowers grow riotously as if they were in the wild. But there are many lovely trees in bloom too, mostly cherry trees.

I have to show you another picture of cherry bloom from another nearby park, Rönneholmsparken. I can't help it, I love cherry trees!

Have to show you a few more pictures. The first two are just pictures of beech trees in the park of Rönneholmsparken. So I love beech trees in the spring, sue me!

The third picture is from the school yard of Sankt Petri school of Malmö. The school is closed due to Covid-19, but you are allowed to enter the school yard, and a lady and myself both went in to photograph the beautiful cherry trees.
