What is the black dot located lower left in the core area? It's not present in other images, and does not seem to be a camera artifact or other processing artifact.

Read the previous responses by Chris Peterson. It’s almost certainly a processing artifact.

Also seen in this APOD (with an expanded view) are two streaks from moving objects, possibly one of a satellite and one a small meteor, see lower far left and upper far right of the galaxy ring.
