Well, we only round up cows in November. This was in October, checking out the changing aspens. No need for a throwing rope (we don't call them lariats here) on a pleasure ride, never much need for sidearms, except for sport, and those are the gloves I wear when I'm taking pictures in coolish weather, since I can easily manage the camera controls.
