Me too... human color vision is limited and arbitrary; heck, we don't even know what it would look like to a cat, much less some space-dwelling, planet-devouring thang. We can't see ultraviolet or infrared (how do you 'infrare' something, anyway? ).Ann wrote: Gaaahhh. I hate not understanding the color of things.

The real brain twister is, suppose our vision extended in both directions. Would there be new colors? What would they look like? Or is the spectrum we perceive all that can be, and it would just be stretched out over the new range?
