I believe Craterchains (and he will correct me if I am wrong) is making reference to the likelihood that certain threads/comments have been flamed by the Mods due to the fact that they weren’t NSL related. I think some people want to have the moderation loosened for at least one BBS related to APOD.

Either put the Cafe under the APOD area, instead of the NSL area, or make a new one for the APOD area of the board.

thank you for your reply & i now understand the potential problem
maybe tho the Mods have flamed some messages due to their unhealthy content rather than the scientific differences
i would certainly not visit a Cafe if Createrchains was in charge of the catering or cutlery

Unfortunately, It is impossible for me to produce an example of a removed post as it has already been removed. But I have seen a few posters have the "NSL related" term thrown in their faces seemingly to shut them up. It worked too.

respondents != visitors, if you assume that each of respondents have replied every 5th time he viewed this thread, we have about 822 - 5*31 ~ 667 visitors who do not give a... hey, it was almost 666

It would seem that moving The Asterisk Cafe to the APOD part of the forum where it obviously belongs. Nobody here discusses anything Night Sky Live related, or seldom. While it may mean a bit of work to transfer them for The Neried, it would be the "scientific" thing to do.
