Full moon above the old town of Corfu - comparison of focal lengths

Six photos of the old town of Corfu at the same time (3 + 3 one day after) shot of the full moon above.
Basically it is comparing focal lengths, 250mm, 100mm, 15mm + 1000mm, 600mm, 400mm, to make it more clear what happens when we put more and more bigger focal length to our camera.

As we put bigger and bigger focal length not only the foreground is getting bigger but also the Moon, many people think one of the two, but it's both at the same time!
At the above pictures Corfu old Town is about 7 km away from the point of shooting, as we see both the foreground and the moon it shrinks and it betting bigger depend the focal length, if we like to put the whole old town inside the Full moon then we must go more than 30km away(at the same altitude high) so that the town will be smaller, as we know the Moon does not change its size as we move away from some object on the country, it is always ~ 350.000km away (with small differences in apogee and perigee).

Instead if we go as close to ground target, ex Old Fortress, the greater the size of the target but we can not zoom in far as it will focus on a single point ex. only on the lighthouse, here is a capture from 1km way with 1000mm focal length, comparable to the moon on top right http://www.astrovox.gr/forum/album_pic.php?pic_id=18377
While if you go too close to the ground target eg 100meter then we can use a very small focal lengths ex. 50MM or even Super wide angle lenses ex. 15mm because it will not fit in our frame the subject of our course going close we are sure that we have the moon with our target, but the Moon will be too small because the focal length is too short! In many fake photos on the internet you will see shots with wide angle lenses of with short focal length on the ground target ex. 100MM, while the Moon is capture to at 200MM or at 400MM mocking everyone with fake photos while just all they needed is a little trigonometry and astronomy knowledge to be in the right place at the right time.

As we see big moons are capture with big focal lengths and we will never see a moon that big with naked eye, only with binoculars, telescopes etc.

here some more details how focal length affects perspective: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Perspectiv ... otography)
