Taken in rural Australia. bright glow of one of Australia' largest inland towns Wagga Wagga tries to outshine the central bulge of the Milky Way. Blue flood lights also beam into the night sky almost giving a sense that it's casting an image of the Milky Way across the sky.

Electromagnetic Pollution Comparison from 3 different sites taken with the ICS 101 Induction Coil in the range frequency of 0-30 Hz (ELF , Extremely Low Frequency) while over mountains are clearly visible the four Schumann resonances, getting closer to the city , the more electromagnetic pollution increases, until they disappear entirely, covered by ther radio noise of power lines, engines , and electrical equipment. vdB152 from Spain, Germany and Austria

by FrankSackenheim
Hi there,
this image was captured on Tenerife island (Luminance+Halpha) and Germany. The imageprocessing was done by Thomas Henne, Astrophotographer from Austria.
Large Version
http://www.astrophotocologne.de/astroph ... _Large.jpg
The Link below shows a comparison between my picture and Kitt Peaks 4m mirror. You can see that i´ve captured HH450 as well as SNR G110.3 + 11.3. HH450X is also clearly visible. PN WeHt5 can be seen in the upper left corner. One interesting Fact about vdB152 a.k.a ced201 is decribed by John Bally and Bo Reipurth. Quote: "Witt et al. (1987) find a velocity difference between star and cloud of 11.7 km s-1, suggesting that the star has entered into a chance encounter with the globule within the last 3 × 104 yr " Which means, the Star that is illuminating the Reflection Nebula was not born in the Dark Cloud. This is, i think unique.

Thanks Geckzilla! The H-alpha picture and the colour picture are matching pairs with the stars aligned. In a possible alternating or mouse-over pop-up setting, it is really interesting to see the nebulae jump into view. The foreground will also be seen moving in the minutes passing between shooting the pictures.
