A sequence of five exposures each 2 mins at ISO2500 was used to create this image, using Adobe After Effects, PixInsight and Lightroom.

Comet C/2014 Q2 Lovejoy in Conjunction with M79 on December 29th, 05:31ut. at its closest to M79 (NGC 1904) is a globular cluster in the Lepus constellation. (RGB-Filters)

Comet C/2014 Q2 (Lovejoy) is seen slowly rising above a layer of clouds on December 29, 2014. Moonlight and tungsten white balance added an eerie bluish cast to the scene.
