Cave Nebula, a beautiful nebula in Cepheus. About 2,400 light-years away along the Milky Way. Studies reveal that the nebula has formed on the border of the Cepheus B molecular cloud and the young, hot, blue stars of the Cepheus OB 3 association. The bright edge of ionized hydrogen gas feeds on radiation from hot stars , especially of the blue star of type O that is seen on the center of the image. These radiation-driven ionization fronts are causing the nuclei to collapse and the formation of new stars within them. The cosmic cave is more than 10 light-years in diameter, an appropriate size for a good batch of new stars.

Dark Nebula LDN881 in Hα-SII/OIII/OIII+rgb by
Jose Carballada, on Flickr
Really beautiful object catalogued as 881 on the Lynds' Catalogue of Dark Nebulae.
It's one of the jewels that you could find on gamma Cygni nebula, on SADR region of Cygnus, one of my favorites regions of the sky.
"A dark nebula or absorption nebula is a type of interstellar cloud that is so dense that it obscures the visible wavelengths of light from objects behind it, such as background stars and emission or reflection nebulae. The extinction of the light is caused by interstellar dust grains located in the coldest, densest parts of larger molecular clouds." (wiki)
It was necessary to integrate more than 70 hours to show all faint and nice details on the estructure.
Here was captured using the more natural palette, please also check my HSO palette on this link:

I'm not good at this, but I suggest you try posting your picture as an attachment.
Locate the "Attachments" button. You find it below the white box where you write your message. It is below the "Save draft", "Preview" and "Submit" buttons, too, and to the left of them. Can you see it?
In order to attach your image using Attachments, you must first have saved your image as a file and given it a name.
Now you can press "Attachments". Below "Attachments", you will now see, "Add files".
Search for the appropriate file. Remember what name you gave the name of your image.
Once you have found your file, double-click it. Wait for "Filename" and "Place inline" to appear. Press "Place inline". You should now see the name of the file of your image appearing between [attachments][/attachments].
Now preview your post. Your image should appear.
Good luck!
Ann
