So what happens when I read with my Kindle? A dinosaur smiles?

I'm not so sure. I've been reading books on my Kindle for years, but haven't yet bought an ebook from Amazon. I don't think he makes much off the hardware.

It's more likely than a tree or dead dinosaur smiling, anyway.

"Life after dead"?

The trees may "live" on as books, but it looks like the editors are gone for good.

There are over 500 unique images of Eta Carinae in the HLA. That's not even counting the spectroscopic images. Compare that with the usual two or three for a lot of other nebulas and 20 or so for a fairly popular nebula. The Homunculus is definitely one of the wildest things in the galaxy. It's also incredibly difficult to image because of the dynamic range of the nebula and surrounding Carina Nebula it's nestled in. Processing it is something like trying to show details of something brighter than the Sun while also showing the delicate flame of a candle directly adjacent. The lobes look surprisingly flat even with the most careful exposure.

Haha, yeah, it's really hard to get past the fact that a fecal transplant involves ingesting someone else's poop. But it works!

When you get done, you oughta make a BIG version and frame it and hang it on a wall somewhere. It looks really nice! And when someone inquires about it, you tell them it's from your study of biology. After the puzzled look on their face appears, you tell them, it's space biology. :ssmile:

A little horsing around. It's not quite the same as Makc's pooping bird, but...
