The intriguing NGC1333 in a two-scope composite (Takahashi FSQ85ED at 450mm FL plus ODK14 at 2380mm for the main nebula.) This is LRGB without narrowband input. Both images had 12 hours total exposure.
Imaged from Les Granges in south-east France at 900 metres.

Picture taken from the Stellisee lake with the Matterhorn (swiss alps), star trails, perseids and the lights emitted by the climbers headlamps who attempt the climb to the summit.
About 4,5 hours on the night of August 10 (2012), the image is a composite of 350 consecutive 45-sec exposures, looking toward S-W with last quarter moon.

The Abyss is a crack which penetrates far into the land. It's a very dangerous place at Réunion where there are many tragic accidents.

This is of one of the Sharpless catalogue of objects Sh2-155 more commonly known as the "Cave Nebula". It was taken over three nights and consists of 12x30 minutes Ha, 10x30 minutes OIII and 8x30 minutes SII mapped to the wavelength ordered palette (HST palette). It was taken with a Takahashi FSQ106ED, FLI ML8300 on a Paramount ME
