The Nebula is quite obviously a Frosted Mini Wheat, from a box of Frosted Mini Shredded Wheat cereal. I knew I'd seen it somewhere before!

Here in Australia, we APOD fans think it looks a lot like the Australian 'sugar glider' flying possum.
Sugar Glider Nebula seems apt considering it looks a lot like sugar.
