NGC 602 - what a cracker! (APOD 25 Oct 2008)

Todays APOD is just incredible! The clusters, the nebula, the galaxies, it has it all. The tantalising link is superb.

The sheer number of background galaxies surely makes it a gorgeous image.
NGC 602 seems like an insignificant dot in the night sky at first, quite separate from the SMC. What a treasure to zoom into!
